it's interesting to see how celebrities can perpetrate some of the worst parts of our society's systemic issues and how easily they can get away with it.

it really makes me concerned how we treat people’s bodies and ethnic features as trends… take the bbl. im sure in ten years people will be questioning why they even did that and get it removed, yet the damages that happened due to it wont be undone 😕 it’s a topic i can speak about for ages so thank you for this post.

you’re right, it’s so disgusting how we fetishise poc—we’re setting unrealistic standards for how a particular ethnicity is supposed to appear AND people are destroying their own bodies trying to look an exaggerated caricature. thank you for reading <3
